Constant Wattage Heat Trace
Constant wattage cables consist of a continuous series of short, independent heating circuits and their main feature is that the power supplied is virtually unchanged throughout the circuit.
Systems can be field-cut to pipe size. A disadvantage of this system is that it uses the same power throughout the circuit and can cause overheating at some point in the circuit.
